I can remember back to the 6th grade when I found my first "indie" band. Hilarious now that I think about it, Metric's catchy song title's, "Combat Baby" or "Dead Disco," caught me in a weird hope for more. The life that is in their music, is difficult to master by any other band; you'll probably never hear Emily Haine's lyrical genius paired with any kind of music, somewhere else. All I can say is that I am overjoyed that Metric has come back, leaving my fully satisfied with their new album. "Their songs are the product of a torrid love affair between amazing guitar riffs and perfect vocals."
